We are a small company. This to us means we’re few enough and close enough to be family. We hold all our people in high esteem and we create a work atmosphere that reflects this. Everyone at Vicinity is encouraged to be the best they can at whatever they can.

While we do have a basic structure, and job-related development is a company policy, we also have a fairly flat organization chart and a fluid style which allows us to be very flexible in completing client projects. Basically, everybody knows a bit of everybody else’s job (and all of their own, of course!).

Training and Personal Development

Our technical staff hold relevant certifications from leading industry authorities. Training and examinations are either jointly or completely sponsored by Vicinity.

In addition, we always have at least one student from the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) working with us and before the programme is complete they are mandated to study for and obtain at least one industry certification at our expense.

Team Core

Aide Ojigbede
Strategy, business development, project planning and design. Also doubles as the CEO. Has worked in retail (both IT and non-IT), corporate (B2B) sales and the leisure industry. BSc in Finance, MCP, ITSM.

Soji Boboye
Sales, Client service, systems integration and configuration. Actually the Sales and Marketing Manager but often found getting his hands dirty doing real work. Has always worked in IT in various firms in Nigeria and India. Physics graduate, MCP, CCNA, CCVP, ITSM.

Mojeed Ajao
Installation, hardware support, maintenance. The Trouble-Shooter; heads our Technical Department and leads a dedicated team of support technicians. Massive experience with IT hardware. OND in Accounting, CompTIA A+, Network+.

Biodun Onigbinde
The Office Manager. Administration, Accounts, HR, Logistics and the list goes on. Keeps everyone and everything else in line so we can run smoothly. Also keeps track so we actually get paid for doing what we love to do. BSc Accounting, AAT, Microsoft Office Specialist.
